While the majority of DaDesktop operations rely on virtual desktop environments, specific tasks demand the performance and fidelity of dedicated hardware. Through the bare metal offering, participants are assigned individual physical desktops or servers, all orchestrated seamlessly via DaDesktop.
One machine per person

- Applications that are incompatible with virtualization, such as ONAP and OpenStack.

How it works
Every physical machine links to a DaDesktop node via a control cable known as ddnexus. To initiate a standalone or fresh-start desktop, simply choose the "Metal PC" option, which directly deploys the environment onto the physical hardware.
PC Farm
Existing office desktops can be integrated into the network to function as bare metal nodes. Within this architecture, each individual physical desktop is referred to as a potato, while the server responsible for managing them is known as a pumpkin (also called a DaDesktop node or ddnode). The USB cable linking each potato to the pumpkin is designated as a potato stalk.
Potato stalk cables can be sourced from platforms like eBay and Alibaba.
