Beyond cloud-based options, DaDesktop also gives you direct access to physical desktop and server hardware.

This is designed for scenarios where each participant needs their own dedicated machine, and it has proven useful in cases such as:

1. when the entire server must be used without a virtualization layer, either for performance gains or licensing constraints (e.g., ONAP, OpenStack)
2. for hardware that can't be virtualized, including certain GPUs, Mellanox cards that require firmware-level modifications during training, and other networking gear

Additionally, this solution integrates smoothly into physical classrooms already in place across Indonesia, requiring only small changes. It enables the instructor to set up the training environment remotely, without having to be on-site.

Moreover, the cloud desktop environment can be deployed straight onto each participant’s physical machine when needed.

Requirement for onsite deployment

To use it in an on-premises setup, you'll need to buy physical control cables known as ddnexus, priced at about $100 per desktop.
