Managing Servers
You can add or remove servers from your On-Premise or OEM DaDesktop cloud setup.
Sync all sys info
This feature checks the CPU, memory, and other specs of each server, then updates the information in the database. DaDesktop uses this data when suggesting servers to users, prioritizing those with more resources first.
After upgrading hardware, you can sync all servers or just a single one.
Keep in mind, if you have over 1000 servers, this process could take a few minutes.
Change State (Suspend, Reinstate)
Suspend a server when it becomes inaccessible. Doing so stops the DaDesktop GUI from checking the server’s status and its Desktops.
You might use this if the server goes down due to a malfunction.
Retiring Server
If you’re ready to stop using a specific server, you can switch it to retire mode. This blocks new Desktops from being created on it while allowing existing ones to keep running or be copied elsewhere.
