GPU Support
DaDesktop provides GPU capabilities through two distinct approaches:
- Direct passthrough of a physical GPU (offered only within select data centers). By leveraging an actual graphics card, this option delivers full hardware acceleration.
- GPU emulation using the LLVM Pipe, which functions flawlessly on any of our Linux distributions such as Ubuntu 22.04 and 24.04. At present, however, this method is not operational on Windows 10.
If you are uncertain whether your intended software, like Blender, needs a GPU, you might encounter a notification reading:
"A graphics card and driver with support for OpenGL 3.3 or higher is required. Install the latest driver for your graphics card might resolve the issue"
