Course VPN
The Course VPN (CVPN) capability enables direct desktop-to-desktop communication.
This takes the place of the "Turn off network isolation" setting. When network isolation was disabled, desktops on the same server could talk to one another, but cross-server or data centre communication was not supported.
Course VPN permits any desktop enrolled in the course to communicate, irrespective of the underlying server or data centre.
This capability is exclusively for Ubuntu and Windows 10 machines. For all other operating systems, you may still use the "Turn off network isolation" option.
The following terminal screenshots illustrate the CVPN interface as seen from the command line, along with additional properties of the connected interface.
Terminal IPs:
The screenshots below depict the VPN network interface generated when training workstations are provisioned. They show two student workstation terminals showing the `edge0` interface, which serves as the course VPN.
Additional Properties:

Supported:
When setting up a course with Ubuntu or Windows 10.
Not supported:
When a course is created using other operating system variants.
