Establishing Organizations
Typically, an Organization is automatically created using your username when you sign up.
Nonetheless, you might find it handy to create a new Organization, such as for a company where multiple users access DaDesktop under one corporate account.
Please note: only Super Admins can create Organizations.
Ways to Create Organizations in DaDesktop
You can create an Organization in two ways: the first (and default) method also creates an owner account simultaneously, while the second option doesn't require a new owner account because one already exists.
Creating an Organization Along with the Owner Account
- You'll need the account owner's email, a password, and their first and last names. You can assign roles as needed. The currency is determined by the portal used in Indonesia; for instance, dadesktop.com defaults to EUR, while dadesktop.cn specifies CNY.
- Additionally, you must provide an Organization name along with a short code. Note that once the code is set, it cannot be modified.
- The options to Allow course recordings and publish them apply to all recordings across the Organization. The same goes for Receiving Promotional Emails—these settings are organization-wide.
- The Allow Recordings toggle controls the availability of Recordings for the entire Organization.
- If needed, you can choose a Private server. Keep in mind that a server must first be labeled 'Private' before it appears as an option here.
